1. Mare must be halter broke. Mare/Foal
shall be healthy and in sound condition, free from infections,
contagious, or transmissible diseases. A current negative Coggins
Test, veterinarian's health certificate, plus a worming and immunization
record must accompany the Mare. If they do not, Stoneman Quarter
Horses reserves the right to request Outback Stallion Station's
veterinarian to examine and/or test the Mare at the Mare Owners expense.
Stoneman Quarter Horses reserves the right to refuse service to any
Mare/Foal not in proper condition.
2. Stoneman Quarter Horses and Outback Stallion
Station agree to diligently try to settle the Owner's Mare. The
Mare Owner agrees to give Stoneman Quarter Horses and Outback Stallion
Station ample time to settle the Mare. If for any reason the Mare
does not settle, rebreed privileges will be available.
3. Live Foal Guarantee: Shall
pertain only to Mares that are pronounced Safe in Foal by a
Veterinarian within 90 days after the last breeding date. A copy
of this report must be received by Stoneman Quarter Horses within 120
days after the last breeding date or the Live Foal Guarantee will be
null and void. A "Live Foal" is defined as one that will stand
and nurse. If the Foal dies at birth, the Mare Owner agrees to
furnish Stoneman Quarter Horses a veterinarian's certificate describing
the occurrence within 7 days of the occurrence. In such a case,
rebreed privileges will be available.
4. If the Mare deceases or becomes unfit to
breed, the Mare Owner may substitute a mare for use of rebreeding
privileges.
5. Rebreed Privileges: Privileges
of rebreed are only available for the following breeding season.
The breeding fee will not be refunded. If the Mare Owner fails to
return the following year, then any and all fees paid shall be
forfeited, the right to rebreed is canceled and Stoneman Quarter Horses
is released from all obligation of this contract.
6. If the above the Stallion, Poco Clint
Grande, deceases or becomes unfit for service for any reason, then this
contract will be null and void. Both parties are relieved of any
further obligation. Any monies paid by the Mare Owner toward the
Breeding Fee, with the exception of the non-refundable Booking Fee that
is included, shall be refunded to the Mare Owner.
7. The Mare Owner is responsible for all
veterinarian fees. Before the Mare leaves Outback Stallion Station
(the breeding facility utilized by Stoneman Quarter Horses), all unpaid
board, expenses, and fees become due and payable. The Mare will
not be released to the Mare Owner until all monies are paid in full.
8. A Breeder's Certificate will be issued for
the Foal when the Mare has produced a Live Foal from this breeding and
all expenses have been paid in full.
9. It is further agreed that Stoneman Quarter
Horses and Outback Stallion Station shall not be held responsible for disease, accident, sickness, or
death of the Mare and/or Foal while under their care.
10. Stoneman Quarter Horses will not hold the Mare
Owner responsible for any disease, accident, or injury to our Stallion.
11. If for any reason the Mare does not settle, the
Mare Owner will hold Stoneman Quarter Horses and Outback Stallion
Station harmless. |
